thre groups of three work the best. one group gets one far side and anoher group gets tho other side and one groupe left gets the middle.

then when one group of people start to get in a fire fight the other groups can flank on the side and get side fire and take them out. then then that happends the other side group shifts over a liitle so the flanking group does not get flanked.

However with the groups of 3 can fail with a large and strong opponit if the group in the center gets hit hard and fast by one large group then it will fall before the flanks can rescue. Then the playing field is devided and then the large group can split and will be behind the remaining players... Every move has a weakness it is just finding and exploiting it at the right time...

Dont diss speedball just because you dont like the game. unless you have played and can proove you own on any field keep your mouth shut. this goes for woodsball as well.

where is rob from DR i want to know what they are doing. because whatever they are doing is definatley working

Well I am doing fine, We are rolling there Sunday for the game. What will we do... well you'll find out as we have been together going on 2 years and how we move and shoot you'll only have to see.
Will we win or loose Time will tell.

Its not about personal glory its about team work no matter who your with. Fight like a lone wolf and you'll die like a lone wolf. So you think there is Strength in numbers? Read your History and you'll see time and time again where a few took on many and won. Team work will win everyday no matter what team your on.

Is this all true or do I just love shooting people?

well maby a little of both lol

I know this is an old thread, but one more thing Ive learned. if you get into a fire fight with some one, stop shooting & move to a different spot. hopefully that person didnt see you move & you can get him on his flank.

Robster is deffinetly correct!!...lol... and so is An94 if you do get into a fire fight one on one i think you only have around a 58% chance of winning... so if you can slide over to there flanks with out them seeing you you deffintaly have a better chance of winning the fire fight...

also make the other team THINK they are wining... they "push" you back..then your team Unleashes the ambush. simple tactics wins every time. BUT your team MUST know what is going on at all times for this to work. Thats where team work comes into play.

True that!.... Team work and cordination are always key on a field! not to mention COMUNICATION!

[sorry for the long post hahaha]
AGREE!! but I don't think there's one single strategy to woodsball, unless its "don't get shot." ;)
Communication is always key. If you don't know what you or your teammates are doing, you're more likely to attack each other or get ambushed in the confusion.
Secondly, know your teammates and their strong points, as well as their guns limitations - divide up tasks(defense/strike/ambush) to the appropriate person, and (for instance) don't keep people with ions lobbing paint in the back of the group when you have guys with 98+flatlines up front....the gun doesn't necessarily make the player, but at the same time, everything you carry onto the field is a tool and resource and should be used as effectively as possible. I've seen guys carrying stock class pumps literally school a bunch of kids with ions(quite funny 8-) ).

i think everyone has contributed helpful advice, but when it all comes down to it, the only way to hone your skills is to get out there, play, and get shot a bunch of times. the best experience is practical experience, and trial and error really helped me to realize what i can and can't do; what works and doesn't work...
